MORAL IMAGINEER

Creating serious games and playful provocations

I occasionally make games and tools for people to exercise their moral imagination.

But why? Well sometimes it’s just as fun to create games as it is to play them. And there are a heap of benefits to using games and serious play to explore complex topics.

Below you will find some of the weird and wonderful projects I am working on…

Ministry of Futility

A text-based adventure game that immerses players in a world of inefficient bureaucracy and absurd office politics. As a new employee at the Ministry, you’ll navigate through various departments, each more nonsensical than the last. Key features include:

  • Interactive story with multiple choices and outcomes
  • Manage your Futility, Wisdom, and Woo meters as you progress
  • Encounter bizarre characters and tackle meaningless tasks
  • Uncover the secrets of the Ministry and potentially bring about change
  • Experience a unique blend of humour, satire, and existential dread

Will you climb the bureaucratic ladder, join an underground movement, or lose yourself in the labyrinth of red tape? Your choices shape your journey through this Kafkaesque nightmare of public service gone mad.
